Is it ok to charge my client with $40 for 25 pages in PDF?

Hi mga kababayan, ask ko lang. since entry level pa lang ako. I don't know how to price my work. I accepted a project. I did a 25 pages PDF, with minimal research (sa client galing ang wordings) but ako lahat ang graphics. I did the graphics using Adobe.

The PDF file includes step by step procedures. so ginawa ko talaga yung procedure para makapag photoshoot ako ng procedure step by step photos that I included sa PDF file. Doing the exercises and photoshoot them takes time too.

At the end. Nagawa ko din. Very satisfied si client.

Client told me to tell her how many hours I will charge NOT including the learning time. 4 days ko nga ginawa, puyat pa malimit. But my client is very nice kapag nag co-communicate kami. Ayoko naman mawala siya dahil wrong lang ako ng pricing..

For a 25pages PDF with graphics work... is it fair i charge ko na lang 8 hours? $5 per hour ang offer nya.

$40 for a 25 pages PDF is that fair sa akin at sa client?

Thanks sa time nyo magbasa at sa mag re reply.

Ganito ako mag qoute, mag estimate ako kung ilang oras ko matapos, and then mag add ako ng 20%.

25 pages na pdf dapat atleast $160+ kasi 4 days m ginawa sabihin mo ng 8hrs/day x $5. Per hour naman pati ung offer nya. As long as hindi nya sinabi na 'Pls only spend 8hrs to this project', ok naman siguro sa kanya yun.

Post mo din sample page ng PDF mo, baka may mg cocomment na seasoned graphic artist dito at mka bigay siya ng presyo if siya gumawa nun.

Hope that helps!

Dapat nga eh, yung learning period mo is paid. You are learning for her, so since its not paid, its just right you charge more for a skill that you have. I got some suggestions, tell her honestly how many days it took, if she complains/disagrees, promise her you will be faster next time since you kinda know the ropes na. Let her haggle too, meet inbetween.

I create logos for $20 each at natatapos ko lang ito ng 10-30 mins. So 2000 pesos for a project that took you 4 days? Thats very little. Don't downplay your skills. If yan kababa ang fee mo, she will give you more projects with that kind of price at di worth it ang pera sa puyat mo. At magigiing puyat ka every task like that. Work smarter, not harder ika nga.

Kaya mo ba in one day yan?
