I declined an offer due to failed to meet the requirements in Grammarly

I declined an offer because I'm afraid I can't meet one requirement--a 99+ score in Grammarly.

Client required me to run my test copy through the free Grammarly thing. Meron syang suggestions to improve clarity (which in my case was okay naman na), engagement, and delivery pero di ko naman maaccess kasi sa Premium sya nadedetect. (Wala akong Premium, but I might invest in one soon.)

I just find it weird na strict requirement yung score kasi kahit yung ibang suggestions ni Grammarly ay mali, especially kapag meron syang words na di narerecognize pero nasa dictionaries naman and ginagamit sa industries. Tapos minsan, for example yung active and passive voice suggestions, lalo lang nakakasira ng sentence and article.

I just hope these clients realize that Grammarly is an AI that also needs second, third, and nth opinions of real humans.

Mas preferred ko si Hemingway over Grammarly. Kasi with Grammarly ang tendency mo ay mag run-on sentences. Sa Hemingway mas nasisimplify mo yung sentences tapos my Flesch Reading Score pa pra malaman yung readability ng content mo.

I use grammarly and hemmingway. Yung active o passive voice hindi ko na sinusunod yung suggestions kung feel ko namang tama yung sentence structure ko hehe.

Hemingway or Inkforall works much better. The latter also helps with SEO.

true, ako nga alam ko mrami mali tpos mataas ang score ha ha, dk iniintindi pag revise s passive voice gusto k ung pagkkasulat ko eh buti client ko npkabait.

I agree. Sometimes di accurate suggestions ni Grammarly. Try Hemmingway. 😊

Madalas kami nag-aaway ni grammarly 😂 oo nga madalas may suggestions sya na hindi na tama. Pang-basic grammar, syntax and composition lang sya, pero madalas sumasablay sa style.

I find Hemingway App so much better.

Try The Hemingway App. 👌

Me, sinasakyan ko na lang ang client pag ganyan -- write in a way na magiging 99% in grammarly regardless of quality.

yan ang requirement eh. meron talagang client na either unreasonable or walang alam. been there done that.

nung nag-reklamo ang client sa quality, then i just threw back yung requirement nya na 99% sa grammarly in his face.

in the end, panalo pa rin ako dahil mare-realize nya na mali sya for insisting on grammalrly at pogi points dahil na-educate ko sya. tumawa pa sya at tinaas ang rate ko.

with some clients just need you to prove them wrong. LOL.

Sometimes merong nang clear na mali, hindi madedetect ni grammarly 🤣

True. Hindi naman 100% tama si grammarly palagi. Nttriger oc-ness ko nyan minsan eh. Hina-highlight ni grammarly kahit mali yung suggestion niya😅

san chinecheck yan sa grammarly?

@Essel If you are using premium mas indepth ang analysis ni grammarly.
