Will there be issues with customs sending office equipment from US to the Philippines?

ASK: Hi everyone, we hired three new employees and my boss wants to send their needed office equipment from the United States to the Philippines. Does anybody know if there would be issues with customs and/or if there would also be issues with delivery? :( Wala ako alam sa customs..

Not sulit unless super specialized ng equipment. Babayaran mo rin sya dito.

Ang isipin ngaun ndi basta basta makakalusot mga items dahil sa covid threat...we are now in the new normal..lahat ng shipping required na disinfect pa bago punta sa kung saan

My employer send a laptop from California to Laguna via UPS. It takes around 5 days to receive the laptop to their house.

You will need to pay for taxes and it's expensive. Not worth it. Buy the equipment here or ask them to place the order online on local stores.

If they really want to ship to the Ph, they can use Shipping Cart, which takes care of taxes, etc for a hassle free door to door experience. Im not affiliated with them, just a satisfied client for many years now.

Ang concern kasi ay baka malaki yung shipping fee lalo na at lockdown tapos baka ma-delay. Better na money na lang ang ibigay sa iyo ng US employer mo pero dapat same or similar features din sa PCs na meron sila at softwares na meron sila at baka cheaper sa atin and better to buy after lockdown pero kung insisting sila ang alam ko lang na mabilis magpadala FeDex, may tracking number sila.

Or si client Mismo mag order online delivered to their addresses. Cheaper and less hassle po

Much better po pera nalang with or without ecq or gcq. Ang laki po ng babayaran sa custom tax, sa post office po para sa flash drive na 32GB 700pesos na po singil sa akin. Para sa laptop nmn sent from London ang tax po n binayaran ko ay 4200. Pag dting dito di po activted un nilagay na OS. Supposedly dapat 8GB un ram pero sira un isang 4GB so pinalitan ko pa. Mdami po hassle much better po dito bilihin. Thank you.

Ahhhh please consider taxes too.. May bbyaran rin ang receiver Kung po thru post office khit brand new or second hand.

Much better Kung Pera n lng, para may warranty ung bibilin n devices.

Mas ok kung pera nalang for warranty purposes.

Much better kung money nalng kc madaming process pang pgddaanan pag sa customs.. Less time and hassle pa.

Pera nalang sis.. mahirap situasyon yung sinettle ko na goods last feb.3 hanggang ngayun wala pa sa akin hindi pa nakaforward sa post office dito. tsaka sakit sa bulsa ang tax pagpricey yung binili..

That would be tricky especially with the situation we’re in right now. Better to tell your client to send budget to the team instead for the same reasons as commented above ^^^

Inform them that it would be better to send money and purchase the equipment here for several reasons:

  • Warranty and service.
  • Shipping prices including insurance.
  • Time for packages to arrive.
