Is content writing required for a SEO specialist?

Hi everyone, if you're into SEO, do u need to have a knowledge in content writing? Or ano ba dapat skills na need pra sa SEO? Tia

It's actually not necessary. There are clients because it's just link insertion and it's okay. There are prospects that they will create a sentence themselves to add the link of your client. But sometimes asking for a sentence, but 1 sentence is enough as long as relevant to niche.
Yes you need to have decent writing skills to be effective with on-page and off-page optimization. To me, you need to have branding, content writing, syndication and social media marketing skills - on top of knowing HTML, CSS, Javascript and JSON. If you're all technical with some strategy, I'd consider that as web development or ux/ui design.
Yes, yes, yes. You need to know basics of content writing. You'll never know appropriate keywords unless you know the context and the nuance of your content - and that usually happens when you know how to write. Basic grammar + nuance in writing lang, that's enough. But if you're good at both, you'll be the best fit 🙂
Optional naman po if sa SEO ka na field. It depends rin po sa client nyo if may requirements sa na need content writing.
It's a bonus if you know how to write. But most clients view SEO skills and writing skills as separate skills. So you don't need to have both. Pag nag optimize ka ng website kelangan syempre tama pa din grammar mo. So yun ang importante, but you don't need to actually write the content yourself.
Not really. If u are experienced in seo, u can focus on ads or website improvement. Usually the seo specialist gives the keywords to the content writer. But if you're good at writing, then that's a plus.
