How to reduce background noise?

So my brother finally got Fiber at home but it's Globe. Any thoughts on the connection ? Also, I have a huge problem with background noise. The neighbours' dogs bark like there's no tomorrow at my place and I'm using a headset with a microphone, so it's difficult to reduce the background noise.

But if I stay at my grandparents' place, I have a quiet place to work, fast internet and a clear background.

Don't know how to break that to my parents, because they're very hard headed.

There are solutions to your problem; 1 already mentioned above by theo and riza but thats if you want to incur a subscription but that would be a small price to pay if your making money already; 2 move in at your grandparents place. As for your conncection its subjective to your location, sometimes globe works better than others sometimes its like crap.
