DESCRIPTION: If you're seeking an opportunity as a brand graphic designer with which you will:

• Have a passion and interest in branding and communication
• Create and update brand standards, visual identity guidelines, color palettes, spec sheets, social media creatives. mood boards, hang tags, product packaging, web collateral, toolkits, templates for multiple brands potentially
• Act as a trend-spotter for modern design thinking, innovations in marketing communications and design philosophy, paradigms & technologies
• Produce sketches, graphics, templates, layouts, themes, typography, visual standards and final assets for marketing and promotions across online, social media, and physical experiences

YOU'LL ALSO HAVE:

• Proven ability to solve communications problems through the application of design skills e.g. ideation, typography, layout, color theory, contrast, spatial, visual presentation/speaking skills
• Expertise with website/page design, micro sites, rich media/interactive ad units, HTML email visuals, infographics, basic video editing
• Basic understanding of web design including HTML and CSS, and web design standards
• A basic understanding of social media marketing preferred
• Excellent understanding of print production and the printing process along with excellent page layout and typography skills and ability to demonstrate skill in drawing and illustrating concepts
• Excellent design thinking skills; you can take something that is deficient or incomplete and turn it into something amazing.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant web, print and visual design solutions is required for application
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual design, visual communication, or related field, or an additional 2 years of experience in lieu of a degree, in native English speaking markets (EU, North America, Australia, HK, etc.)

SOFT SKILLS:

• Must be native or bilingual English speaker
• Self-directed, motivated team player who is also a self-starter who can ideate & execute even without explicit requirements and direction in a fast-paced environment
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work across different levels and markets
• Experience working as part of a collaborative team of marketers, writers, editors, and other creative partners
• Respectful, responsible, accountable, ethical, mature. Demonstrate excellent professionalism and work ethic.

• Ability to respond quickly for messages, calls or chat during working hours using Slack & Skype
• Working hours will overlap by 3-4 hours with our US team, which is based in USA Pacific Time (Mon - Fri, 9AM – 7PM PST) for many days at the inception of this opportunity. Long term, this requirement may only be necessary once a week for status updates.
