Web Designer/Implementer needed that has Motivation, Integrity, and Capacity!

Work Time Zone • 40 hours per week expected • Flexible schedule but must work • 1 - 4 am Central Time Mon - Fri to overlap with our Support manager that is in Ukraine (he’s an American living there doing missionary work) • 8:30 am - 9:30 am Central Time (will change by an hour standard time in Nov)

Daily Reporting and Accountability A daily report is needed, 5 days per week, using Slack for support and Nifty for project communication.

Proposed Compensation and Benefits • $700-$800/month USD (~34K to ~39K PHP) for 40 hrs/week. • Benefits include sick and vacation time. • PLUS bonuses on excellent work and 13th Month Pay (based on tenure).

Work Description • Working with our Support Manager in Slack, NiftyPM, and our ticket system (Cayzu) and performing tasks as assigned. • Assisting in building, troubleshooting, and optimizing websites on a regular basis • Most of the time will be creating the design concept (either from Adobe XD, Affinity Designer, or an in-browser design) from a list of requirements generated by the client and building it out • Quickly solving client issues as assigned by the Support Manager via our ticket system • Setting up cPanels for design/development and production purposes • Launching sites with our detailed checklist • Working with a senior developer to implement the design into a WordPress website using Astra or Kadence as the core theme and Beaver Builder as the page builder. • Some work in building out WooCommerce and Restrict Content Pro sites. • Configure plugins and themes appropriately for implementation of the design • Adjust designs for proper display on mobile devices (custom HTML and CSS a must) • A working understanding of best practices for proper Accessible and SEO designs. • Researching and comparing tools and methods to help us constantly improve our processes. • Communication daily and multiple Zoom calls per week

Skills Required Proficiency: • WordPress (creating and managing content, troubleshooting errors, etc.) • Usage of a page builder • cPanel • PHP (as used in WordPress) • CSS • HTML • Design Software • Modern Website Design Practices

Proficiency in or able to learn VERY quickly: • Astra and Kadence Themes • Gravity Forms • Pods and Metabox (for custom post type and taxonomy creation and management) • NiftyPM • WooCommerce

Good: • Basic, Technical SEO • Basic Accessibility Standards • Adding websites to Google Search Console and Google Analytics • Spoken and written English for communication purposes with lead developer • Understanding how to optimize a website for speed • Understanding of the principles of membership software

Nice-to-Have: • Javascript and jQuery (as used in WordPress) • Graphic Design (Photoshop or Illustrator) • Experience with the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) • Spoken and written English for communication directly with clients
