Remote Construction Purchasing Officer

Role: Understanding of Construction documents, Drawings, Specifications and Codes; Construction Company or Real Estate development experience of a minimum 5 years; Proven purchasing experience of volume quality materials; International Mercantile Experience throughout Europe, Middle East, Asia, North and South America; Understanding and ability to create (following directives from our Corporate Office), Contracts and Purchase Orders for use in a international marketplace; Understanding of Letters of Credit and ability to liaise with our Canadian Accounting Team to establish payment terms for international purchases; International shipping experience and arrangements for Sea and Air Transport to Canada from all parts of the world; Ability to liaise both verbally and with written Reports back to the Canadian Project Managers and Executive; Professional attitude and proactive person who is polite, trust worthy and respectful in all dealings;
