Flexible hours: The tutoring prime times are between 5:00 pm to 12:00 am (midnight) from Monday to Friday and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight) Central time, local to Minneapolis, MN. You can choose your consistent availability within this time frame.

Receive training and support: Teaching virtually doesn’t mean that you will feel isolated. You receive continuous support and feedback from our team.

Competitive Pay Rate Our hourly rate is up to 12 USD/hour or 6 USD/per lesson (depending on local rates, fluency level, etc.). Each lesson takes about 30 minutes.

What a Liquid Language Online ESL Teacher is: A Liquid Language tutor is much more than an online English teacher. Our teachers are motivators and personal mentors. They are encouraged to bring their qualifications, experience, and methods into the virtual classes and guide the students through their virtual learning experience.

What you will do: Delivering one on one sessions through a video conference tool and focusing on the student’s speaking and interaction in English.

Creating a practical, interactive, respectful and fun learning environment showcasing our high standard of e-Learning courses

Supporting student learning by providing valuable and written feedback after each session

Requirements: Native English speaker (US or Canadian accent) Foreign language teaching qualification (i.e. TEFL, CELTA, TESOL) Minimum 3-month or equivalent combination of ESL/EFL teaching experience, including part-time, volunteer, community and coaching activities Ability to commit to a fixed schedule for a minimum of six months

Preferred skills: Conversational level in Spanish or Portuguese Business or technology background Technical requirements: At least 10Mbps speed internet connection Laptop/desktop computer Headset Webcam (HD recommended 720P+) Digital or analog (3.5mm)

Teaching hours: Classes will be assigned based on availability and student attendance demand, which is highest on weekday evenings and weekends. Currently, most of our classes require 30 minutes of a contractor’s time. Liquid Language is unable to guarantee any specific or minimum number of classes.
