HOME BASED HIRING: COPYWRITER iHR Buddy is looking for a Marketing Copywriter who is responsible for developing content for both on and offline marketing initiatives in a way that continues to build our brand, creates user engagement, and generates qualified inquiries that lead to new client relationships.


  • 1 to 2 years experience in Email marketing and Copywriting
  • Creative. You will need to create original work and develop ideas around your chosen themes.
  • Persuasive. Need to know how to write persuasively and in some cases, defend your creative choices.
  • Social Perceptiveness. Need to have your finger on the pulse, so that your copy is relevant and modern, and understand how people will react to their writing.
  • Excellent Writing Skills. Need to write well: with proper tone, feeling, sentence structure and emotion. Grammar counts!


  1. Content creation and authoring for email marketing, blogs, social networks, newsletters, corporate website, guest articles, whitepapers, case studies, proposals, events and speaking engagements.
  2. Generate clear and strategic messaging that supports key marketing initiatives, while using the appropriate voice for a particular customer, audience, or industry to drive results. Community engagement via social networks. (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  3. Conduct research for content topics based on industry trends and best practices.
  4. Complete assignments on a deadline, and juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  5. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
  6. The copywriter should be able to fine tune the voice and tone for each brand, as well as write copy for several different target markets.
  7. Write dynamic exciting blog articles, creative media pitches, press releases, and other duties as assigned.
  8. Writing and editing copy, website copy, short product descriptions, marketing collateral, event recaps, and articles with quick turnaround on development of press-ready content
  9. Contribute creative content ideas for marketing campaigns across all platforms targeting several different markets
