Position: TECH SUPPORT Start Date: ASAP Offer: up to 30k Working hours: Us hours

Role and Responsibilities: • Schedule and perform hardware/software installations, upgrades, backups, and data restoration • Maintains layer 2 network equipment in accordance with established IT policies and procedures on Cisco and Dell equipment. Experience with spanning tree protocol, VLANs, switch interconnectivity (stacking), fiber-optic connectivity, and best practices for layer 2 network design. • Office365 management and migration assistance. • Conduct routine network hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established policies and configuration guidelines • Network and customer documentation updates, including network diagramming with Visio, Gliffy, et al. • Junior-level Active Directory architecture and troubleshooting experience including experience with architecting, implementing, and troubleshooting Group Policy. Familiarity with directory replication and topology best practices and troubleshooting. • Junior-level Exchange Server (2010,2013,2016) experience. Understands Exchange roles and architecture, mail flow, SMTP, client connection protocols, and fundamentals (Outlook, ActiveSync). • Troubleshoots problems with network outages, peripherals, software applications, and operating systems within established standards and guidelines • Develops network upgrade project plans, performs project assessments, evaluates, implement, and support post-deployment. • Implements various minor projects that enhance network availability, security, and data integrity • Works with vendor engineers and technicians to resolve technical network problems • Develops processes and procedures for ongoing management of the network and server environment • Assesses functional needs to determine IT purchase requirements • Completes all required training and professional development sessions • Experience with equipment hands-on in a data center environment. Rack/stack/cabling/installation and build-out.

Skills and certifications: • One to three years + of providing support to users in a Windows environment • Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting a variety of printer manufactures preferred • Be able to do some monthly monitoring, patching, & reporting • DNS and DHCP Troubleshooting • Ability to work independently • Strong communication skills • Experience with Office 2007, 2010, and 2013 configuration and troubleshooting • Experience troubleshooting iPhones, and Droids • Cloud Product Knowledge • Office365 • Intermedia • Salesforce • Setting up, configuring, and maintaining Exchange mailboxes in a business environment • Active Directory Administration • Knowledge to remove Malware & Virus’s • VoIP Administration and Troubleshooting • File Server Administration • FTP/TFTP Knowledge • Network Troubleshooting • Imaging of Workstations (Ghost/Acronis/O&O, etc)
