TARTLE is seeking a full-time highly creative, tech-oriented, and detail-oriented, Social Media Marketing Manager. You are a vital part of the Media and Advocacy Sherpa Vision Communications Team.
In this role, you are responsible for executing, and continually improving a comprehensive social media program. You will inspire cultural engagement on the most consequential issues of the day, activate a community in over 73 countries on numerous social media platforms, and demonstrate a command of best practices and trends in social media to build a community of passionate, engaged Data Champions around a shared mission.
Your Essential Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:
- Serve as a primary advocate for TARTLE social media platforms Globally. HIGH-LEVEL OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY is NECESSARY!
- Execute and optimize social media content (text, audio, visual) for future and real-time engagement across multiple platforms.
- Conduct social media listening activities to maintain real-time awareness of influencers and trends that inform TARTLE media and advocacy communication strategies.
- Facilitate and engage in relevant social media discussions to represent TARTLE as a primary resource for TARTLE mission areas among grassroots audiences and key influencers.
- Design and execute frequent social media campaigns with excellence, working alongside other creative teams.
- Manage and report on performance metrics and indicators, research data and analytics to inform strategy and maximize performance and outcomes.
- Serve as TARTLE subject matter expert on its social media community, industry and user trends, emerging capabilities, researching and implementing best practices Globally.
- Nurture TARTLE social media community, responding promptly, tactfully, accurately, and on-message within our community and among influencers and the opposition.

Demonstrated proficiency in:
- Social Media Management - Effectively expressing fundamental values to, facilitating strong engagement with, and inspiring action from multiple social media communities.
- Communication - Drafting professional, timely, accurate, and compelling short-form communication, ability to transform complex or technical issues into compelling, snackable messages.
- Knowledgeable on Social Media Trends and Updates - Constantly consuming news and current events, and identifying opportunities to advance a mission through effective social media engagement.
- Excellent Work Ethics - Efficiently analyzing, identifying, and summarizing data that inspires content creation and report findings to team members.
Education and/or experience: College degree or equivalent work experience. High level of English proficiency
